Dropshot rig with a Snell Knot instead of a Palomar knot

Fishing light line with a dropshot soft plastic rig, I noticed I was getting broken lines with bigger fish. The Palomar knot normally used for tying the hook onto the hook. So instead of a Palomar knot I have been using a snell knot instead which is much stronger especiallly on 6lb to 10lb line.

To ensure that the hook sits up you need to pass the tag end of the line back into the eye of the hook.
Try it and see because I have noticed that I have less broken lines now.
