I have a simple 2 stage water filter and is has collected a lot of sediment in only 3 weeks. Better make sure yo are drinking clean water.

Is that 3 week's worth of sediment? My filter, pretty similar to yours, gets that dirty after a few minutes!
After a few minutes ?!! It looks like the quality of water at your area is quite bad. You must have spent quite some of money for changing the cartridge. If you use whole house filteration system, it could save you a bit of money. :o)
