Squid Rings

After catching the squid I made a nice meal of fresh squid rings. The trick to having soft /non rubbery squid is to soak the squid in milk for 5 minutes. The enzyme in the milk makes the squid flesh soft even after you fry it. Yum.

Thanks for the tips! I always wonder how to cook better tasting squids esp when I have to fry them.

No prob. I use a simple flour batter with pepper and salt. You can also marinate the sotong in milk, pepper and salt, with other spices if you want.
