Often I would hear patients requesting for K.K. This would be from anything from headaches to stomach aches. This is because for a long time the paracetamol tablets dispensed by the government hospitals were and are still stamped with the letters K.K.

Some of the patients would swear by them. In fact it's one of the few generic medicines that patients think are great. Anyway K.K. stands for Kementerian Kesihatan ie. The Ministry of Health.
