Doctors should know about the Private Healthcare Facilities & Services (PHFS) Act 1988

Most of us doctors are too busy to bother about changes in policy or voice their opinions. We work hard, have little spare time for our families. Yet all of us should know of the PHFS because it effects all of us.

I think it is a good thing to have an acceptable level of quality in private clinics. However as usual we are shown the stick instead of carrots. Not enough doctors in the government? Just force doctors to have longer compulsory services. Too many doctos leaving for the private sector? Lets regulate the private sector further and make it hard to set up new practices. Sad.
