Sad to hear about another scam. Elderly people especially Chinese tend to believe fantastic things like magic pearls and amulets. Imagine paying 130000 for a sweet. Still many of these scams are medically related, people will believe anything except what their doctor says. Sometimes the neighbour, pharmacist or tv has more credibility than my advice.
