Do you want to know which doctors have good connections? Just go to the main big government hospitals and look for those doctors who never get transferred out to the periphery. They are there in their hometown GH's from housemanship to medical officership and are most likely to get a specialist training position first.



If you want to know who doesn't have big strings to pull, look for the doctors stuck in the periphery, foolishly beieving the empty promises of the secretary sitting in the MOH allocating positions. You know the usual promises, don't worry you will like it in the periphery, it's only for one year, you will get preference for masters, you will be given preference for transfer to hospitals next time...

If you want to believe them, ask them to put it in writing...or you will find that they have very short memories.
