Acute Gastro Enteritis or basically diarrhoea is one of the commonest cases presenting to a GP. It can be mild or even faked to obtain an mc. But it can be very serious especially in children, causing severe dehydration and death. The mainstay of treatment is rehydration either by oral or parenteral/iv means. So make sure u drink plenty of clear fluids and ORS.
