Happy Birthday Malaysia

Today we celebrate our independence day, ID49. My little girl is having a good time with her Malaysian flag. A bit of a washout here in Penang as it was raining. Strangely enough, Gandhi was showing on TV and I enjoyed it trememdously. It meant more than the live celebrations over in KL as it depicted how hard it was to gain independence. Even harder is the growth and unity of a young nation still struggling to find it's identity.
