KLIM 2006 Savvy Crash Test Pics
My friend Nikonk was at the KL International Motorshow and snapped a lot of nice pics. Here are 2 photos of a Proton Savvy used in a crash test. Not sure what NCAP rating it has. However airbags and ABS should come standard, not just in the export versions but the ones we get here.

Hmm...the crash test looks bogus. If you look at how Euro NCAP does crash tests, you'd know that this Savvy on display crashed into a lamp post at 30 kmh.
If you want to judge based on a crash test, the best is to get Proton to send the Savvy for the Euro NCAP crash test and see what results come out of that.
Euro NCAP frontal is off-set at more than 50 kmh. That's a lot more severe. Then there is the side impact test, and side-pole test. Let see the Savvy get through all that.
So..TUV or BULL...the proof is in the pudding.
What is the purpose of Euro NCAP crash test? Their primary concern is on safety. If you think a safe car should ram into an offset concrete block at 50km/h (as in Euro NCAP test) and suffer little damage...then you must be the joke of a century.
Crash test results in determined by the G-force effects on the dummy sitting in the car. So a car that can crumple easily yet the dummy suffer lesser G-force, that's what Euro NCAP consider as safe.
Do check you facts here; and please know that we're dealing with cars...not battle tanks hello?!
Btw, I when I designed my car chassis to withstand 15cm bump...my lecturers made fun of me, they think that i'm building a tank. So learn from this mistake...know what you're talking about.

lol..u sux!!hahaha~the crash test it not over 50kmh up~it bcoz when u got an accident do u accelerate ur car or use the break asshole?hahahaa~even u have 5 star car u also died when u in top speed~ha3
