Traveling home from school, I used to see the indian dhobies drying their laundries by the grassy patch along the river somewhere at dato kramat. I cannot exactly remember the spot. I wonder if they are still in business. That was like 25 years ago!!!!
Ha what a small world!!! I can still see the scene vividly in my mind, the white washings against the green patches of grass by a small stream. BTW are you an ex-Xaverian?

Hehe thats where I stay, it's the same Indian Dobi I think! It's at Solok York, next to a small river, next to the Penang General Hospital!
