Guidelines for Doctor's Websites

Palmdoc has posted this in his blog, which is very useful.

There are specific guidelines established by the Medical Advertising Board of Malaysia

Website/homepage

1. Colours: No restriction
2. Photographs: Permitted up to MyKad size only. Photo should not show the registered Medical practitioner conducting procedures on patients.
3. Logos: Allowed
4. Content: As approved by the Medicine Advertisements Board
5. Information on Medical practitioner: Name. qualifications, job title, tel. number, e-mail (if personal website email, the website should approved by Medicines Advertisements Board)
