Inhaled Insulin becoming a reality
Although not approved by the FDA officially, it's board of advisors are positive on the new inhaled insulin by Pfizer. Looks like someone is going to get rich as nobody would want to inject when they could inhale.

Unfortunately, inhaled insulin has NOT been approved by the FDA. If you read the article, it states it has the US advisory panel's support, but not the FDA.
I haven't seen convincing research data yet for inhaled insulin, so I don't expect to see FDA approval anytime soon. although it would be nice for patients if they can perfect this formulation.
