Haitian Earthquake

I read with horror about the devastation in Haiti following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake. Thousands are trapped in collapsed buildings. Hospitals have also collapsed. We may condemn the USA for many things but they are always first on the scene with practical help like helicopters, medics, emergency transport, aircraft carriers and hospital ships.
