As the death toll now stands at 200 for the black saturday bushfires my prayers are with the families that have lost so much. Imagine being burnt alive in your car, melted beyond recognition. I asked my aussie friend what was it like on that day? She said it was deathly quiet. No birds, nobody on the roads, nobody walking around. Baking hot wind made it difficult to breath at 48°C.
