Hello Mr Health Minister, have you ever tried calling for an ambulance from GH? I suggest you do and see how long it takes for the ambulance to come for a heart attack victim. As for spending millions on some digital tech that will be outdated the moment you buy it, just use the mobile phone lah!

What you need are well trained emergency telephone operators that can quickly and efficiently determine the problem and dispatch the ambulances. Not some expensive digital read out! If they need more help they can call in and speak to the doctor. Better to train the paramedics well to do on-site first aid.

Thats the problem with having a non medical health minister, focusing on the wrong things. Remember not long ago, the ambulances ran out of fuel ? When we transfer patients from Penang to KL, the oxygen normally runs out half way! Please make sure the basics are working. Get good feedback from the people who are working in hospitals, not the a$$ lickers and kaki bodek which seem to fill the offices in the KKM.
