There is a nice river behind my apartment in York Road. However it is polluted with rubbish and there are no fish in it. How sad or else I would be fly fishing in it every day. 10 years ago you could get catfish and other freshwater fish in it. Penang has the most polluted rivers in Malaysia. Yet instead of cleaning up, they want to build 38 high rise buildings to replace the green lung which is the Turf club.
