I am reading the Star ths morning in McD and I cannot believe what I am reading. Our dear education minister says it is ok to unsheath and wield the keris as a symbol of UMNO. Worse still he says over time non-malays will become desensitsed to it. Amazing! I guess its ok to use a Ak-47 next time. A keris is a weapon. It is unsheathed only with one purpose, which is to kill. Perhaps instead of waiting for desensitisation, he should be sensitive enough not to use the keris.
