E=MC2?

To give an MC or not to give an MC, that is the question. It seems that at every GP visit, there is an underlying agenda.
Patient's agenda : Get a cure for his/her problem and get a Medical Certificate
Doctor's agenda : Try to give the best cure within the doctor's expertise and not make it too expensive. And to see if the patient requires an MC or not.
Sad to say sometimes all the patient wants is an MC, but surprisingly when you least expect it, some patient's may refuse an MC.
Most of the time I try to be fair, to weed out the chronic tak larat MC seekers from those who require it. However the patients also have a lot of tricks.
Some patients purposely come at a busy time when they know you don't have time to argue with them. Some also come near closing time. Others resort to tears and anger.
I try to be fair, but sometimes give in to these professional MC seekers.
