Often a patient asks for an injection for pain or fever. Dicofenac Sodium must be one of the commenest injections given to relieve pain. However with the advent of so many strong oral analgesics, I try not to give injections unnecesarily.

Thankfully for injections like these, I made it through lots of fever during exam periods. Pyshologically or not, I have never been able to swallow any pills with the size of panadol or larger..therefore, I depends on injections.
I hope it is not a big deal to request for injections.
